[ Well, the shock of it made his hand smart horribly , AND NOW HE'S BEING SCOLDED, so no, not especially. ]

How was I to know that would happen?!

[ He flails his hand frantically through the water, trying to rid it of the ribbony blue tentacle that's stuck to his palm. Shockingly, he hasn't been dumb enough to try to pull it off with the uninjured hand. ]
